Arbroath have signed midfielder Dylan Reid for the remainder of the season. The 21-year-old Scotland youth international returns to Scottish football after a spell with Crystal Palace.
Reid, a former St Mirren player, joined Palace a little over two years ago. He now arrives at a Gayfield side sitting seventh in the Scottish Championship with 11 points from nine games. Their recent form shows one win in five matches, a run the club will hope the new addition can help improve.
Reid's arrival provides a fresh option in midfield for manager Dick Campbell as he looks to address a run that has seen the team concede 13 goals this term.
The move is a short-term commitment for the player, who will be aiming to make an immediate impact. His potential debut could come against Morton at Gayfield this weekend.
